TI (Kenya) - Developing a digital platform to monitor procurement of pharmaceuticals and lobby policymakers

The unwillingness of procurement officials at the county level to share information and to engage the public in procurement of pharmaceuticals in public health facilities in Kenya, allows corruption to thrive.

In part as a response to this, Transparency International in Kenya (TI-K) will: 1) Develop and Maintain a digital platform to monitor the procurement of pharmaceuticals in select public health facilities in Kenya; 2) Lobby for the adoption and implementation of the project proposals by the National and County Governments; 3) Sensitise the public on participatory budget formulation, analysis, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
